The blossoms of spring are all around us to enjoy and I'm pleased to say that there are also plenty of new miniatures sprouting up around my studio. From whimsical to wonderful, many one of a kind miniature art treasures are springing up!
I'm having so much fun creating the characters that have meant the world to me from my childhood and up through my many years of artist growth. There's Alice, Peter Pan, Mad Hatter, Wendy Darling, Captain Jack, Elvira, Freda, the Sanderson Sisters.....and so many more. All bring a smile to my face.
Here's my latest miniature art doll:
The Cheshire Cat, in hand cut and lovingly applied purple and lavender wool flocking
He's dressed in rich silk with antique French cotton lace cuffs & collar
The Cheshire Cat....ready to add more mischief to your miniature world
All of my OOAK miniature dolls are hand sculpted from a block of polymer clay, given a wire armature that I create for the body which makes them poseable, and then they are richly and uniquely costumed, never to be repeated. So when you spot one of my art dolls that you love, collect it before it's gone!
You're invited to join me in the fun while keeping safe and healthy. Let your fingers do the walking in my websSite, and also stop by my Etsy shop where you're sure to find new art treasures constantly springing up . From miniature art dolls filled with personality, to classic, even quirky furnishings and bits & bobs, there's never a dull moment in my studio.
Here's to a wonderful spring, and to you and your family staying healthy and safe.
